All Other Commissions: The collaborative nature of commissioned work is particularly rewarding. Discussing elements like color palette, subject matter and size with my clients enables me to truly understand their artistic vision and imagine how the piece will integrate into their lives and space.

I find great satisfaction in the steady flow of commissions I receive. These projects, which make up around a quarter of my yearly paintings and have totaled hundreds, are a real highlight for me.

This dream commission was created by a life-time cat rescuer. All of her kitties plus one dog make an appearance in this personality packed painting. From cats who like to eat broccoli to dogs who like to read, they all shine in this piece!

Pup Apartment

I know these pups well! The top three are my pups, Bunny (a boxer mix with the cutest underbite & the quintessential Queen), Reacher (a flat coat retriever mix & dapper dude) and Enzo (a German Shorthair Pointer mix and sweet, thoughtful Big Boy). All the dogs in the apartments below them are their BFFs from our local dog park!

Feline Rhapsody

This family wanted their cats depicted in their garden. One of the humans play harp and the family actually owns a large rocking unicorn that sits in their living room.
